Monahans Kidz Zone (MKZ) addresses problems our community faces with our youth.  MKZ has made a positive measurable impact on crimes committed in our community. We have the opportunity to educate our children with programs such as homework tutoring, sewing classes, photography, mentoring programs, music and games, reading, leadership courses, arts and crafts, field trips, and many other after-school programs. We believe the future of Ward County will be affected by today’s youth as they are our future leaders. The typical child memeber is from low income families whose parents work and cannot afford child care.
