Empowering Youth Through Enrichment
Safe Spaces, Strong Futures
Monahans Kids Zone offers a safe, welcoming place where kids can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Through tutoring, mentoring, homework help, and fun activities like arts, sports, and games, we give youth the tools they need to thrive beyond the school day.
Nourishing Bodies and Minds
Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities
In partnership with the West Texas Food Bank, MKZ provides daily meals and snacks to fuel our students. For many of our kids, this may be their only food outside of school. Good nutrition supports learning, play, and wellness—because hungry kids can’t focus.
Bridging the Digital Divide
Technology for Every Child
MKZ is leveling the playing field by giving kids access to powerful learning tools. Through our new EDSOMA reading program and Code Ninjas computer coding classes, students build skills that will carry them through school — and into the future. Our Lobo Learning Center also includes tutoring, homework support, and a computer lab to close the technology gap and open new opportunities.

Our New Home, Their New Hope
We’re building a vibrant, multi-use youth center to serve 300+ students annually—from 1st through 12th grade. Located near schools and community spaces, the new MKZ facility will expand programs, increase access, and host events for the whole community.
